With a background in software development and a passion for financial privacy, Frank built SenticMoney to solve a problem he experienced firsthand: the trade-off between convenient budgeting tools and control over sensitive financial data.

Most budgeting apps require you to share your bank credentials with third-party aggregators like Plaid. SenticMoney takes a different approach—local-first architecture means your transactions, budgets, and financial reports never leave your computer unless you choose to back them up.
